Terms & Conditions
Welcome to The Northern Gateway
The programs, classes, and retreats offered by The Northern Gateway (“TNG”) are intensive journeys of learning and transformation. To receive the full benefit of these experiences, participants must be committed to their personal journey. The following policies are intended to assist with a successful and enriching experience.
Educational Intent
Participants are expected to attend TNG offerings strictly for educational purposes. These programs are not intended as therapeutic or healing sessions. Individuals with health or psychiatric concerns should consult with a physician or mental health professional before enrolling. TNG reserves the right to accept or decline any participant and to make changes to schedules or itineraries as necessary for the comfort, convenience, and safety of all involved.
Sacred Space & Confidentiality
The work we do is guided by spirit and held in a sacred container. We share stories, knowledge, and hold space with integrity. Participants are expected to honor this sacredness by maintaining confidentiality. Content shared in classes, readings, and retreats is to be kept within the circle and not to be recorded or disseminated. By participating, you agree to uphold this confidentiality with the highest regard for spirit and community.
Registration & Payment
-
Classes: Registration is complete upon payment of your deposit. Payments are agreed upon at registration. If minimum class sizes are not met, TNG will endeavor to reschedule the event, and all deposits or additional payments will remain in good standing.
-
Membership: Memberships are processed through our course platform, Ruzuku. Payments are made via monthly subscription and can be managed within your Ruzuku settings.
Special Offers & Discounts
Promotional or short-term specials are time-sensitive and may only be applied during the specified period. If discounted classes are not completed or payment terms are not met, all discounts become void, and the full price will be charged, subject to additional fees if applicable.
Cancellation Policy
-
Classes: To withdraw from a class, a written notice must be sent to info@thenortherngateway.org at least 15 days before the course commencement date. A refund of the class cost minus any associated deposit and fees may be issued, provided all funds have been received by TNG. Deposits are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received 14 days or less prior to the scheduled class. The student has one year to apply their payment to a future course, based on class format.
-
Self-Directed Courses: No refunds will be issued for cancellations.
-
Retreats: Details regarding cancellations for retreats will be updated as circumstances evolve. Until then, all classes and retreats will be held online.
Travel Considerations
When considering any event that requires travel, we strongly recommend purchasing refundable travel insurance. TNG is not responsible for any travel-related expenses incurred due to cancellations or changes.
